This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or visit one of our brands websites directed from https://www.thebeautydrop.com.au (the “Site”).

Personal Information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Additionally when you make a purchase from one of the brands who are participating in beauty drop, we do not collect any billing or payment information from you (including credit card numbers). We refer to this information as “Order Information.” We do track your activity from the Site to the participating brand in which you purchase.

If users sign-up to become a Beauty Drop VIP, that users information will be used for Beauty Drop Marketing Data. This might be accessed as a marketing tool for participating brands who align with Beauty Drop.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We do not process orders and link users directly to brands, so the Site does not collect any information related to the users purchase details.

Users who sign-up to the Beauty Drop VIP program and when in line with the preferences they have shared with us, Beauty Drop will provide users with information or advertising relating to our products or services. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We use your information for advertising purposes, during key milestones in the campaign for the Site. Before, during and after the Beauty Drop event we will be retargeting users from our Marketing Database, separate from participating brands. Participating brands will not have direct access to the Beauty Drop Marketing database, and will only have access to users who purchase a product directly with their brand. All users have the ability to opt-out / unsubscribe from our VIP program (our Marketing Database), simply by unsubscribing from our emails.

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. You can also opt-out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Do not track

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection, and we track activity based on you entering our Site and you leaving our Site through outbound links.

DATA RETENTION

When you become a Beauty Drop VIP, we will maintain your supplied details for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.You can do this via email - hello@thebeautydrop.com.au
